What data we collect

We collect personal data through two forms on this site:

• Homeowner enquiry form (/contact/): your name, email address, phone number (optional), location on the Cote d'Azur, property type, and details of the work you need. Submitted on the basis of your explicit consent.
• Contractor registration form (/for-contractors/): company name, SIRET number, contact name, email address, phone number (optional), trade types, certifications, departments covered, and English proficiency. Submitted on the basis of your explicit consent.

We do not collect financial information, and we do not ask for any sensitive personal data.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data submitted through our forms on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You provide consent by ticking the consent checkbox before submitting either form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at hello@rivierahomeexperts.com and we will delete your data promptly.

Analytics cookies are also processed on the basis of consent, given through the cookie banner on this site.

How we use your data

Homeowner enquiry data is used solely to match you with relevant, vetted contractors for your project. Contractor registration data is used to assess your application and, if we work together, to route you relevant homeowner leads. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your personal information for marketing unless you have explicitly asked to hear from us.

How your data is stored

Form submissions are delivered to us by email. We do not store submissions in a separate database beyond what standard email providers retain. Email data is held on secure servers. We keep correspondence only as long as is reasonably necessary to manage the introduction or application and any follow-up.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

When we introduce you to a contractor, we share the details of your enquiry with that contractor so they can follow up with you directly.
